Sharma reminisced, "It’s the pitch where everything happened! Barbados will forever be in my veins." His words capture the emotional connection to the venue where India ended their 17-year wait for a T20 World Cup title, defeating South Africa in a thrilling final at Kensington Oval.

The final was a nail-biting affair, with India holding their composure to secure the win in the last over. The victory was a result of a strong team effort, showcasing their dominance, character, and resilience throughout the tournament. India remained unbeaten throughout the entire campaign.

A significant moment was the high-octane clash between India and Pakistan. "It wasn’t just a game," Rohit stated. "Two days before the match, we were locked in — tight security, fans everywhere, you could feel something special was coming. It felt like a festival had taken over.”

India emerged victorious by six runs in a tense, low-scoring match. Jasprit Bumrah was named Player of the Match, delivering a fantastic performance of 3 for 14.

Despite an early stumble with the bat, losing key wickets quickly, Rishabh Pant's fearless 42 off 31 balls steadied the innings, helping India reach a total of 119.

"On that pitch, his 42 was like scoring 70," Rohit commented, highlighting the significance of Pant's contribution. "We knew 140 was par, but with our bowlers, even 119 could work."

Rohit praised Bumrah and Arshdeep Singh for their excellent execution of the game plan. "Bumrah is a weapon — he takes wickets and dries up runs. Arshdeep’s been brilliant too, and they were crucial in pushing the game in our favour."

From the electric atmosphere of the India-Pakistan match to the tense final in Barbados, Rohit Sharma’s reflections are a moving tribute to the team's unforgettable achievement.
