Veteran actor Manish Chaudhari is all set to appear in Aryan Khan’s directorial debut, 'The Ba*ds of Bollywood'. He will be playing the role of a producer in the highly anticipated web series. In a recent interview, Chaudhari shared his insights on working with the young director, his encounters with Shah Rukh Khan, and his perspective on the evolving film industry. Here's what he has to say.In an interview with NDTV, Manish Chaudhari expressed his delight in collaborating with a new generation of filmmakers. He emphasized the importance of staying relevant in a constantly changing landscape. “It feels great to work with debutants. The new-age directors are coming to the fore,” he said.The actor added that the new-age filmmakers bring fresh ideas to the table. Manish even shared that he is glad that the new generation is still interested in casting him. He said, "It's important to be relevant as an actor across as many generations as possible."Addressing the topic of multiple takes, which fellow actor Bobby Deol had playfully mentioned during the preview launch event, Manish Chaudhari clarified that this is a normal part of filmmaking. When asked if Aryan asked for too many retakes, Chaudhari explained, “I mean, there's a process of shooting a series or a film. Retakes are a part of the process. There's nothing unusual about it. Everybody does it. So did Aryan as a director."The Aryan Khan-directed series stars Lakshya, Sahher Bambba, Mona Singh, Manoj Pahwa, Raghav Juyal, Anya Singh, and Manish Chaudhari. The series will also have cameos by Salman Khan, Ranveer Singh, and Shah Rukh Khan himself. It is scheduled to release on September 18, 2025, on Netflix.
